Are Cutler & Smyth kitchen knife sets suitable for professional chefs or home cooks?

Are Cutler & Smyth knife sets dishwasher safe?

We understand the allure of the dishwasher but please don’t clean your kitchen knives this way. They won’t benefit from being sprayed with salty detergent and being exposed to high temperatures of 80ºc. Instead, we recommend washing them by hand.
